If you’re honest, the hardest part isn’t training…

Personal Training in St. Louis That Fits Your Real Life

Starting again. Doing it alone. Trying to piece together a plan that actually works.

Kryptonian Muscle offers one-on-one and semi-private personal training at Output Performance in St. Louis—plus the coaching and nutrition support that help busy adults build strength they can keep.

Most people come to personal training after some version of this:

  • You’ve worked out before… it just never stuck

  • You know some things, but not enough to trust your plan

  • You push hard when you’re motivated, then disappear when life gets busy

  • You’re not injured—but you’re not moving well either

  • You don’t want to be babied… but you also don’t want to feel lost

If that sounds familiar, this was built for you.

Personal training at Kryptonian Muscle is for people who want to:

Feel confident walking into the gym

  • Train with intention, not randomness

  • Be challenged appropriately

  • Build strength that carries into real life

This isn’t about chasing exhaustion.

It’s about becoming someone who trusts their body again.

An elderly woman performs a squat exercise while holding a kettlebell in a gym with brick walls and gym equipment in the background.

Nick doesn’t coach from theory.

He coaches from experience.

He’s been the person who felt uncomfortable in his body.

The person who didn’t feel confident showing up.

The person who had to rebuild—not just physically, but mentally.

That’s why his coaching style is:

  • Supportive without being soft

  • Demanding without being reckless

  • Structured without being rigid

He’ll meet you where you are.

And then he’ll expect you to show up.

Here’s what sessions feel like:

You don’t walk into the gym wondering what you’re supposed to do or if you’re doing it right.

Every session has intention, structure, and a coach fully locked in on you.

  • You walk in knowing exactly what you’re working on

  • You’re coached through movement, not left guessing

  • You’re corrected, challenged, and encouraged in real time

The workout has a purpose—you understand why you’re doing it.

Some days are heavy.
Some days are technical.
Some days are humbling.

None of them are random.

PRIVATE vs SEMI-PRIVATE

Every schedule looks different—and that matters when consistency is the goal. That’s why Kryptonian Muscle offers both Private and Semi-Private training.

Private sessions offer complete focus and precision. Semi-private training adds flexibility, shared momentum, and a built-in sense of community—making it easier to stay consistent week after week.

Both paths are coached, intentional, and results-driven. The difference is how you train best—and how you want your training to fit into real life.

Private Training (1-on-1)

This is for you if:

  • You want full attention

  • You have specific goals, limitations, or injuries

  • You want faster, more precise progress

Nick is with you every rep.

Nothing slips through the cracks.

This is for you if:

  • You train better with shared energy

  • You still want a personalized plan

  • You like accountability without being singled out

You’re not doing the same workout as everyone else.

You’re training your plan—side by side with others doing theirs.

Semi-Private Training

Training doesn’t stop when you leave the gym.

Every client uses an app where:

  • Your workouts are programmed clearly

  • Your “on your own” days are already planned

  • You don’t have to think—you just follow the plan

  • Progress stays consistent even when schedules change

This is what keeps momentum alive between sessions.

No guessing.
No improvising.
No falling off for weeks at a time.

A man with glasses, a beard, and a gray t-shirt is doing a seated shoulder press with dumbbells at a gym. He is seated on a bench with his arms raised, exerting effort. The gym has brick walls, mirrors, and various exercise equipment.

Yes—people lose weight.
Yes—they get stronger.

But what clients talk about most is this:

  • Feeling capable again

  • Knowing what they’re doing

  • Trusting their body

  • Showing up consistently without forcing it

That confidence spills into everything else.

Most people aren’t lazy.
They’re just tired of guessing.

Random workouts. Inconsistent routines. Starting over every few months. It wears you down. Real training should feel focused, coached, and built around you—not whatever you found online that week.

This is where effort gets direction—and direction gets results.

Start with a Conversation

You don’t need to overhaul your life.

You need:

  • A clear plan

  • The right amount of pressure

  • Someone in your corner who actually cares if you show up

That’s what this is.

Just a real conversation about where you are—and where you want to go.

Real People. Real Progress.

Real People. Real Progress.

"I first met Nick when I walked into a local gym - I had a lot of intimidation and no idea what I was doing there other than a general desire to “work out.” Nick was extremely patient with me and helped me not only learn how to exercise and eat healthy, but develop the confidence I needed to create real positive habits and lifestyle change. I am so grateful to Nick for the progress I’ve made and excited to see where the journey takes us!."

"I had already been into lifting and fitness before I started training with Nick. However, I can say after this past year or so, I’ve lifted and approached strength I didn’t think I was capable of. With Nick, you will have knowledgeable, dependable coach, that’s going to kick your ass, with a smile on his face! He will make you better!

— TaDarrol (TJ) Johnson

“Nick was my coach for a Powerlifting meet I was doing in June 2019. He helped me fix my form in a few areas that needed improvement. Let me tell you, what a difference a few adjustments can do to your strength. Nick helped me add 30lbs to my total while I lost 10lbs in body weight! Nick really know his mechanics and how nutriton along with a regular training schedule can boost your strength while losing body weight!

Every journey looks different. The results are real.
