Collen’s Story
-
Collen began swimming in 2005 at age seven. She was born with albinism and is legally blind. Her passion for Swimming developed after she realized that she could focus on herself instead of a ball, unlike when she played soccer and softball. In 2012, she became the youngest member at 14-years-old to compete on the U.S. Paralympic Swimming Team in London.
-
Collen’s goals were by far the most extreme I’ve ever worked with. Her goals included:
Get stronger, faster, to improve her times in the pool
Win an Olympic Medal
Building healthy nutrition habits
-
We focused on personalized coaching that met Collen’s exactly where she was. Training emphasize were explosive barbell movements, functional conditioning, and proper recovery techniques (stretching, nutrition, etc.).
She understood the game plan and came out ahead with hardware and building a legacy!
-
Colleen made a legacy for herself and now is helping other swimmers do the same thing!
Results:
4-time Paralympian; 4-time Paralympic medalist (1 silver, 3 bronze)
Medals: 12 (3 gold, 5 silvers, 4 bronze)

““Nick is one of the best coaches I’ve worked with during my professional swimming career. He has an array of knowledge to help people obtain their goals whether it’s losing body fat, gaining muscle, eating healthier, or living a more healthy and active lifestyle. Nick not only pushes you to be your best, but he cares about each of his clients and wants them to succeed.”
